This is a short workshop based on a You Tube video I made as well as a live workshop I did. We we create an abstract watercolour landscape painting using a wet on dry technique and layering. The painting will be based on some reference photos and a video from the Scottish Highlands. By the end of the workshop I hope you will have the tools and knowledge to apply the principles to your own favourite landscape. We will also touch on colour theory and mixing neutrals

This is a step by step of how to create this semi abstract watercolour landscape using a wet in wet technique. I run through 3 examples of the same painting and talk about what happened with each. As a bonus I talk about how to stick and painting into a sketchbook and also using a small amount of Neo Color II pastels at the end.
